Walking through the park,
Sam spotted an older man sitting alone on a bench, staring at the ground. Sam tugged on Dad’s sleeve. “Why is he sad?”
“I’m not sure, buddy,” Dad replied. “Maybe you could cheer him up.”
Sam hesitated, then approached with a shy wave. The man looked up, startled. Sam smiled and said, “Hi!, beautiful day, isn’t it?” The man’s face softened into a warm smile.
“Hello. Yes, it is young man.” Sam ran to Dad.
“He smiled!” “See? Your smile made his day better,” Dad said. Sam grinned, ready to share more smiles with the world.
