Ella Feeds Rocky
Rick Allen

Ella held the pet food bag tightly.

“Is it time to feed Rocky?” she asked excitedly.

“Yes,” Daddy said.

“Just pour a little into his bowl. Not too much.”

Ella carefully tipped the bag, her tongue sticking out as she concentrated. Kibble clattered into the shiny bowl. “Like this?”

“Perfect,” Daddy said.

“Now, what do we say to Rocky?” Ella turned to the wagging dog.

“Dinner’s ready, Rocky!” she giggled as Rocky rushed over, his tail wagging furiously.

Ella watched him eat, proud of her work. “Tomorrow, can I feed him again?” “Of course,” Daddy replied with a big smile.
