Paddington evening peace

Sunset painted gold across the roofs while Snoggle and Junior sat by the fountain. The water held the glow of laughter drifting home. 


We did it said Snoggle. Junior nodded. Stories end where smiles begin. Fireflies drew slow circles.


The shops grew quiet. The town rested easy as the sky turned soft.
