Smile in the storm

They stood side by side and smiled until their cheeks ached. The jar shivered once and burst into rainbow mist. It rained laughter over every roof. 


The town twinkled and the lampposts tilted to grin. Junior wrote the moment so no one would forget.


 Snoggle sneezed glitter and everyone laughed again. The clouds parted and the air felt kind.
