Maya Builds Again

Bedtime stories for kids that teach Resilience

Read aloud bedtime stories for calm nights and kind hearts

Maya’s block tower wobbled.

She reached for the last piece   Crash!  It fell and scattered in every direction.  Her eyes filled with tears.

“I worked so hard,” she whispered.

Miss Tara knelt beside her. “Want to try again?”

Maya sniffled. “What if it falls again?”

“Then we’ll try again, together,” Miss Tara said.

Maya nodded.  She stacked one block, then two.  Her hands shook, but she kept going.

When the last piece stayed, she grinned. “It’s even taller!”  Miss Tara clapped.  Resilience isn’t about never falling.  It’s about standing back up… even if your hands are still a little shaky.
