Frog Friends Make Peace

Bedtime stories for kids that teach Fairness

Read aloud bedtime stories for calm nights and kind hearts

Two young frogs, Charley and Buster, were embroiled in a dispute over which lily pad they would claim as their own.

The local Sheriff, a very big frog, hopped over to mediate between these two young friends.

“What seems to be the matter, boys?” The Sheriff said.

Charley said, “I saw that lily pad first, and Buster thinks it’s his.”

The Sheriff said, “Let me ask you, what difference does it make? Now, let me ask another question: is your friendship or where you sit more important?”

Finally, Buster said, “Friendship is more important than things.” His friend Charley agreed.
