A Bedtime Thanks

Bedtime stories for kids that teach Gratitude

Read aloud bedtime stories for calm nights and kind hearts

Liam snuggled into bed as Dad opened his favorite book.

“Once upon a time, a little squirrel found the biggest acorn ever,” Dad read.

“But he shared it with his friends.” Each friend thanked him for the gift. Liam’s eyes widened.

“That was nice of him!” Dad smiled. “What are you grateful for today?”

Liam thought for a moment. “My toys… and my sandwich… and you, Daddy.” Dad hugged him tightly. “I’m grateful for you, buddy.”

As Liam drifted to sleep, he whispered, “Thank you for my stories and dreams.” From then on, bedtime always ended with a little gratitude.
