Rufus is Franklin's devoted single father and a maintenance worker for Paddington Town. He repairs lamps, benches, gates, playground equipment and the ordinary things that quietly keep the community working. He is excellent with practical problems and sometimes unsure what to do with emotional ones, but he keeps trying.
